Talk about something with Darkfall Unholy Wars
Here we found the second installment of the monthly column dedicated to the universe in flux of MMOGs. After the binge last month, but December is replete with news massive enough to end the year with a bang (as they say Maya). On the other hand it is true that in those thirty days do not come out great titles online, it is equally true that many MMO already issued are seeing major upgrades and expansions that introduce new content to users and bring a breath of fresh air in their virtual worlds .
Let us see in detail the main new game play, with the exception of Guild Wars 2, which has already been extensively discussed in this special issue.
Darkfall: Unholy Wars
We now turn to a more niche title, that is, Darkfall Online, sandbox fantasy MMORPG released in 2009, which promised to be guided by none other than the unforgettable Ultima Online. After many ups and downs (more the latter actually), Aventurine developers have decided to devote himself body and soul to a total upgrade of the DFUW gold game titled Unholy Wars, this is a real 2.0 version of Darkfall in which the points strength of the title should remain unchanged, the unrestricted PVP combat to action until full loot, but enriched with new features, a remake of crafting, a more user-friendly and a new graphic layout.
The release was scheduled for December 12, but was canceled at the last, nothing striking, given the continuing delays at which the SoftCare Greek has accustomed us. Aventurine apologized announcing an upcoming beta testing for those who pre-order the game, which will start on December 17.
In addition, a few weeks ago Darkfall: Unholy Wars has been proposed on the Steam platform Greenlight and quickly approved by the community, showing all the interest that circulates around the game (as evidenced by the link to the page): The client will then be made available soon on Steam, to the delight of many Darkfall Unholy Wars gold players.
