FYI, they are supposed to be putting a different patch in as soon as tomorrow potentially, & that is going to come with an additional wipe. There could be a variety of more wipes, for all we know, & we know there will be one at the end of beta before launch. Greatest you could do now is test the DFUW gold game's methods & report bugs as they come up till things stabilize. I wouldn't get attached to your items or progression.

Just try to get familiar with the tactic & attempt & save yourself the heartache & wait till things get sorted out with the beta.
